Hello, this is Harold Vondenstein of Gulfport, Mississippi, USA
My beloved wife, music ministry partner, and love of my life, Paula Vondenstein, is battling Stage 4 cancer and she desperately needs your help! As Paula and I are approaching our 8th wedding anniversary on October 10th I am reminded of how I first met her on Christian Mingle. I arrived in her "mailbox" on Christmas Day in 2014 and we had our very first date on New Year's Eve. I knew that she was for keeps and I closed my Christian Mingle membership just 10 days after I had opened it! Paula was my match made in Heaven! Only God could have brought together two totally different people who were perfectly matched for each other. Within two years of marriage we were creating Gospel Blues music together and kicked off in full-swing a year later in September of 2018 under the name Bible Belt Blues. Paula was the visionary, lyricist, and producer for Bible Belt Blues. She was also my vocal coach. She saw talent in me that I never knew I had. She had the vision of getting our music on the radio. I thought she was crazy but now I know that she was not.
In our own home recording studio we handled every facet of producing our music together as a couple (creating the lyrics, composing the music, recording, mixing, mastering, producing, and promoting). Paula is a natural-born promoter and wrote most of our news media and articles, secured radio airplay as well as media coverage. By September of 2019 we had already released two albums and had won the coveted Josie Music Award for Gospel/Christian Duo. We were on a serious roll and God was opening up huge doors for us with numerous awards, radio airplay and media coverage! In 2021 we won our most prestigious award to date, The W.A.M. Impact Award! We also started creating electric guitar instrumental music under the name Grit's Guitar which has also won several awards! Paula had the vision from the very start! I can tell you now that there's no greater joy than to hear music on the radio that my wife and I have created together as a couple! Thank You Jesus!
A year later in September of 2020 Paula was diagnosed with a very aggressive inflammatory breast cancer. In September of 2022 Paula was officially cancer-free much to her delight! Just four days later on October 1, 2022, her favorite brother, Eldridge, died of a cardiac arrest while they were talking on the phone! Just five month earlier, on April 13, 2022 I woke up in the morning to discover that I had suddenly lost my hearing. I remember writing a note to my wife on a 3 x 5 card which said, "I cannot hear you!" We had just released two more albums and were finalizing two more. We were both devastated! I am diabetic and the steroids shots my doctor gave me raised my blood sugar over 600 several times putting me at the risk of going into a diabetic coma. The shock and stress from these traumatic events was just too much for Paula! A tumor marker test taken in March of 2023 revealed that the cancer had unfortunately returned and had spread to both her lungs and her liver. A Cat Scan taken about two weeks later showed that there were two small tumors (one on her lungs and one on her liver) in addition to the breast cancer tumor that had grown. We were now looking at Stage 4 Cancer! Paula’s breast tumor had seeped through her skin and there was now a mass on top of her right breast which the doctors say is inoperable. Every day I create a bandage for Paula's right breast which is four layers thick. I spray her breast with colloidal silver and cover her mass (fungated tumor) with Medi-Honey to help heal the wound. Paula's body is fighting to break down the tumor which is quite painful at times.
Paula has not wavered in her faith throughout her entire cancer journey which began three years ago. Her heartfelt desire from the very beginning has been for God to be glorified in the midst of her storm, in the midst of her pain, and in the midst of her suffering. She keeps reminding me that there is nothing that God cannot do, that the word “incurable” is not in His vocabulary. She speaks words of faith daily saying that if God healed her the first time of cancer that He is going to heal her again! I believe that is true. Lord Jesus, show us Your Glory!
When dealing with Stage 4 Cancer the best route to go is holistic for a fighting chance to beat this cancer! Unfortunately, holistic treatments, cancer fighting nutritional supplements, and equipment utilizing healing frequencies and scalar technology, as well as other healing modalities are not covered by traditional medical insurance, so it has all been out of pocket expenses for us which are mounting. We are paying co-pays on all scans and doctor’s visits as well as higher grocery bills since most of what we buy is organic. The cost for fighting cancer is huge and has been very costly for us. We have never asked for any help before now. I want my wife around so we can grow old together! Paula has an amazing will to live! We need some founding donors to help jumpstart Paula's GoFundMe fundraiser. Would you kindly consider being one of those founding donors? Please give as the Holy Spirit of God leads you. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated. Please keep Paula in your daily prayers. Prayers do move mountains! Also, please share this fundraiser on your Facebook Timeline and other social media. We cannot do this alone! May God richly bless you for your kindness! Standing firm in faith, Harold Vega Vondenstein
