Help Pawrific Petcare relocate and rebuild

My name is Jennifer and I'm the owner and founder of Pawrific Petcare LLC. I was born and raised in the Bronx and have loved animals since I can remember. I knew from childhood that I would do something with animals as a career.
I started volunteering in animal hospitals at 16 and got my first job in an animal hospital in my early 20's. While working at one of the animal hospitals some clients started to ask if I was able to care for their pets for a weekend getaway or vacation because their pets had special medication and they knew and trusted me as I helped take care of their pets in the hospital. This went on at different hospitals I worked at over a few years. After a while it was beginning to be a bit much with working full time so I knew I was going to have to make a decision soon.
In 2009 I was staying at a client's home caring for their dog and my dog, Ruby, was staying with a family member. Unfortunately that family member wasn't careful in caring for her and she was hit by a car and passed over the Rainbow Bridge. I was crushed and had a real hard time trusting anyone to care for my pets. Thus in 2010 I made the big decision to leave my job working at the animal hospital and Pawrific Petcare LLC was founded to help put people's minds at ease about the care and safety of their fur babies while they were away.
Pawrific Petcare LLC has been growing into an amazing family of clients and their fur babies for 11 yrs! We have had excellent reviews and references from clients all over NYC and have grown mainly due to word of mouth advertising and referrals. It's been a passion of mine to care for animals and I only had bigger plans to put in the works and go to the next level. I was able to build something I not only was a natural at but absolutely loved and it brought me joy everyday. I started with only caring for my clients fur babies when they went on vacation and then over the years added dog walking, training and medication and nail trim only visits. It has been an amazing experience that until recently has only gone up in revenue, client happiness and fur baby love!
I'm creating this Go Fund me account because unfortunately COVID has dealt my business a blow that I cannot currently recover from here in NYC. I have lost over 80% of my business due to the pandemic with clients moving out of NY, clients being able to work remotely on a permanent basis and other clients that can no longer afford services due to their own hardships. I will be closing down Pawrific Petcare here in the city because I am forced to relocate due to financial hardship. I have used up my savings trying to stay afloat here in NYC but I am now at the end of my resources. I want to rebuild when I move but will need a little help. I'm asking for donations to help with the cost of moving and setting up new. The funds will help to cover the costs of any licensing, tools and down-payments on a space to rebuild and invest into building my business from the ground up again.
Helping people and their pets was always something I wanted to do and I found my niche in providing excellent care for my clients elderly, sick, young, special needs and aggressive pets or pets recovering from surgery. It's a passion that has come naturally to me since I was a child and it's a passion I very much would like to continue for years to come. With your help I can make that possible. Anything is greatly appreciated and will help me continue to use my gift to help people the best way I know how, making sure they have the best care for their pets through every stage of their lives.
