Help Pay For Fiftys Medical Bills
Donation protected
On the afternoon of December 5, our dogs were let out into our yard to go to the washroom. We didn't know that someone had been in the yard earlier and left a gate open. We never open that gate so its a mystery how that happened. Our two dogs and our puppy, Fifty an 8 month old miniature pitbull, ran out into the street to chase after the older dog and was hit by a vehicle and both the vehicle and dog fled the scene. Thankfully a caring person stopped and came to our house to let us know what happened. When we finally found our dog and got him to the vet we found out his jaw was broken, two teeth, and his eye socket damaged. Even with all his pain he still wagged his tail and was so happy to be with us and have us comfort him. He is everything to us. Our Mom is struggling to keep the bills paid and is a single parent of my little brother and I. We have been through a lot the last couple years and Fifty helps us get through it everytime and I think she knows it would be devastating for us to experience another loss and would do anything to help us but I know she can't afford the bill. I know that most people that live here are struggling like us and don't have much money to help out but even a small donation of even a few dollars would help towards the bill. Without your help it will take us years to pay this off. Fifty is still in hospital at Boundary Bay in Langley he stayed there overnight till they could give him his CT scan and have his surgery sometime this morning. My Mom is still waiting to get the final bill but the estimate for the surgery and all the tests and his stay in hospital is about $7,000 - $9,000.
