Support a play about Parkinson's!
Donation protected
I'm Matthew Moore, and I was diagnosed with Parkinson's in 2019. I'm a theatre guy, so I wrote a play about PD as a way to fight back! Here's the story on ABC6 And the play's website
Krista Stauffer and I (in the picture) will be performing several places in upcoming weeks, including The Parkinson Voice Project, Sinclair Community College, our hometown of Columbus, and Barcelona, Spain, UAB in Birmingham and UAH in Huntsville!
I'm trying to keep production costs low, but I have lots of expenses, such as paying for personnel, building rental, set pieces and props, marketing, ticketing, and all the rest.
Maybe you'd like to help!
My biggest hope is that his play will raise awareness of PD, the fastest-growing brain disorder in the world, and help strengthen the relationships between PD patients and their neurologists, family, and friends.
It's a terrible disease, and I want to do something about it.... with the power of art! Thanks so much for any help!
I want to thank the Greater Columbus Arts Council and the Ohio Arts Council for grants as well as a donation from 5kforJK to help cover costs.
