Help Honor David Brewster: Support an 85th Birthday Bash!

Thanks for your interest in helping celebrate David Brewster's 85th birthday! If you haven't marked your calendar already, do it: October 22, 2024, 6pm-9pm, at Town Hall Seattle. Plan on joining DB and @300 of his friends, colleagues and admirers like yourself. There will be food, drink, heartfelt testimonials and merry remembrances--a party not to be missed.

Wondering why the fuss? Over the past half-century, who has done more than David to make Seattle more interesting, as a founder of Town Hall Seattle, Post Alley, Crosscut, Seattle Weekly, Sasquatch Books and more. Take a look at this awesome list.

Many thanks to Town Hall and its preferred caterer, Gourmondo, who are going out of their way to help keep the costs down for this event. We celebrants will need to pay for the hors d'oeuvres, beverages and other hard costs--which will total around $15k. Charging admission would be, well... tacky.
