Help pay for medical fall alert device

My name is Caroline Weiss, my husband John Rivera on Tuesday April 5th out of nowhere had a seizure, passed out and stopped breathing. I had to call 911 and administer emergency CPR until the ambulance arrived and rushed him to the hospital. After some testing and an overnight stay we returned home.
Needless to say this spooked us (terrified the three of us) and neither feel safe him being home alone. For the time being we are running all errands together. This is tougher on us as we need to load/unload him and his wheelchair each time.
We began looking into a life alert/fall detection device, but sadly his fixed income and me not able to work after my car wreck years back supporting us and our eleven year old daughter we simply cannot spare another expense. We already live on a shoestring budget spending next to nothing on our own hobbies/entertainment so here we are turning to Gofundme for help from our great friends and family as we did for Pennys back surgery!

We are trying to raise $1300 in case taxes are more than my estimates.
since we hit our goal in less than 24 hours we've stretched the foal for needed/overdue van repairs (the vehicle we were blessed enough to raise funds for on here after our daughters spine surgery, and only vehicle we rely on for everything and all my doctor visits) we planned to use our tax refund for this and this alone on but got screwed when we got almost $6000 less than we thought we were getting
Here are the repairs needed and estimates from our mechanic:

$1270.07 Struts: needs both front stuts- noticed while pulling into repair bay
$1256.91 needs rear bank VTEC resealed and cam plate o-ring. leaking oil badly
