Monday afternoon I received the most terrifying phone call of my life. My 7 year old daughter, Skylar, was given SCOLDING HOT food that accidentally spilled on her & gave her second degree burns all over her abdomen, pubic area, and thighs. She was rushed to St. Christopher’s Children’s Hospital where she was treated for her burns. Since then, Skylar hasn’t been able to sit, walk, or urinate without being in constant pain and crying. She’s scheduled to see a plastic surgeon, Monday at 1:30pm to save her skin and minimize scarring. Because of our insurance coverage being cut off June 1st, 2021, her surgery is considered an out of pocket cost. Please help me pay for medical bills, surgery, and medical supplies, such as new dressings, gauze, mölnlycke mepilex to cover her wounds effectively. I want to keep her as comfortable as possible while she deals with something she NEVER even deserved to go through in the first place.
