We recently experienced an apartment fire in which we lost most of our items. We were out of the house when the fire occurred but our sweet cat, Toto, was present. When the police found her she was barely breathing. Luckily, they were able to keep her alive but she had to stay in the ICU. It cost about $3,500 which is less than our initial goal but is still a very large amount that is hard for us to come up with on our own.
