Help pay for Zac's cancer treatment
In October 2019, Zac was diagnosed with lung cancer. He's been on chemotherapy since November 2019, and had surgery in September 2020 to remove the tumor. His recent scans now indicate cancer markers on both lungs and his liver, so additional chemotherapy is also needed to keep the cancer from spreading.
Zac's prognosis and outlook are optimistic, but he doesn't want finances to stand in the way of continued treatment, which could save his life. Even with health insurance, his bills currently total at least $20,000. This amount will increase due to additional chemotherapy treatments, which cost $1,500 for each round.
His current bills stem from 8 overnight stays for advanced treatment at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital, and the subsequent surgery in September. Additionally, he needed a spinal chord stimulator to relieve pain in his chest and spine after his surgery. Numerous prescription medications and other unexpected bills due to emergency hospital visits have been financially draining to Zac and Lauren.
Please consider donating whatever you can - Zac and his wife Lauren would be incredibly grateful for your support. Please also consider spreading this campaign on social media, and with anyone you know who might be willing to help.
Thank you so much!
