Help My Friends Get Their Wedding Documented
Donation protected
Hey guys,
I pride myself in working very hard. Working full time at a coffee shop, pursuing music, music production, photography, and videography. I’ve always strived to be self sufficient so asking for money is something I’ve never wanted to do but in this moment I feel I’ve been left no other option.
I was supposed to be shooting a wedding for some dear friends in Florida this Friday but have become physically unable to do so - reasons I will explain in coming paragraphs. The wedding was originally scheduled for April of 2020 so I received the deposit to shoot the wedding in last March - days before the world shut down due to Covid-19.
I'm currently in Nashville pursuing a career in music so typically when I shoot weddings the money always goes straight towards production or promotion, so I currently do not have the money to refund the bride and groom so all funds raised will be sent to my friends who have graciously offered to cover me to film and edit this wedding.
Over the past two months or so I’ve been dealing with intense leg pain. I always seem to be dealing with random body issues like this so i shook it off and pridefully let the pain worsen day by day. About two weeks ago it became debilitating to the point where I could not move my body in any direction or get out of bed without excruciating pain - to the point of fighting for consciousness and nausea. Finally, I called my lovely twin brother and an equally lovely friend to carry me to the ER where I spent most of the night. They relieved the pain and put me on some medication to the point where I was able to walk out of the hospital almost pain free - for the first time in about almost two months.
I’ve seen a doctor since and am going through physical therapy but the pain is worsening and when i walk the majority of my left leg is entirely numb and often is burning. It's also kept me from working my job here in Nashville as well so any excessive funds donated would help me from my own financial holes I've fallen into.
Thank you so much for your time and support. Seriously anything would mean the world to me. Getting this wedding documented is so important to me and is something the couple will appreciate for the remainder of their lives.
