Help pay off medical debt from cancer treatment

I was first diagnosed with uterine cancer in March 2014 and underwent a partial hysterectomy the following month. My doctors informed me that I did not need to undergo chemotherapy or radiation. I set my sights on starting my doctoral program and left New York City to start on my Ph.D. journey in July 2014. My checkups did not show any cancer activity so I did not think anything of the subtle yet persistent discomfort I began to experience as early as my first year of study.
In the summer of 2016, I began to experience noticeable pain in my left leg and pelvic area. Unfortunately, I was misdiagnosed with sciatica in early 2017. On a trip to visit my family for Thanksgiving, I ended up in the emergency room and was diagnosed with a recurrence of cancer in December 2017. After being hospitalized for three weeks, I immediately started my first round of chemotherapy and radiation before Christmas and underwent a second round of chemo in the spring and summer of 2018. I was fortunate to have the support of family and friends to help me through my battle!
My recurrence created some complications for which I continue to see my doctors in NYC. However, I am currently in remission and have since returned to my doctoral program which I hope to complete by 2020.
I am asking for your help in paying off the cost of my cancer treatment that was not covered by my insurance company. I hope to begin paying off this debt as soon as possible. Thank you for your prayers and financial support as I continue to remain positive and move forward in my journey. God bless you!
