Help pay for Professor Juniper's remaining vet bills

As of a few days ago, Professor Juniper has passed. We were with her at the end and it was so very painful. We still owe quite a lot of money to my best friend who happened to be in a good monetary spot to support me through the end of the Professor's life. Hello, I'm Desi and I'm here to raise funds for my kitten Professor Juniper who we had to rush to an Emergency Vet this morning.

We came home after hanging out with friends on New Year's and everything was fairly normal. I noticed Juniper breathing a little hard, but she still seems pretty nervous from when my family was visiting so I didn't think anything of it.

Right as I was laying down to sleep, I heard a strange meow. It wasn't our very vocal cat Amber, as she has a low and quiet meow. I ran to the bathroom to find Juniper sitting on the bath mat breathing extremely hard and wheezing. We rushed her to a local Emergency Vet at around 6 in the morning and had her seen by the staff.

There are three possibilities for Juniper: She has Congestive Heart Failure, Cancer, or Feline infectious peritonitis (FIP.)

FIP is her best shot at a life longer than a year as a recent drug advancement mean that it's no longer a death sentence... But all of this has a cost.

A dear friend has covered the initial 4.5k in already accrued fees/the deposit for future expenses, so we're asking for 10k to refund her what she's already covered and for any future vet bills. Which... If it's hopefully FIP, will be expensive, but worth it to save our sweet kitten.

She's only 2 years old and deserves the best shot at life we can give her. Please help us save our sweet Professor Juniper.
