HELP PAY THE SANCTUARY RABBIT VET BILLS
Donation protected
PLEASE HELP US PROTECT OUR 25% DISCOUNT!
With the recent returning of FOUR senior rabbits to Zooh Corner, and the usual emergencies that are an expected part of rescuing special needs and elderly rabbits, Zooh Corner has had a cavalcade of large vet bills recently, almost all of them in the latter half of March. While our bill was a bit over 12K a few weeks ago, thanks to some VERY generous sponsors and donors, it is now standing at just $3919.44, as seen here on our most recent vet bill, from just yesterday 4/6.
Look at the big difference that 25% discount makes even on a fairly small bill!
SAVING THAT 25% DISCOUNT
Currently we receive a very generous 25% discount on our veterinary bills. That makes a HUGE difference, especially on those 2K-plus emergency whoppers.
We absolutely cannot effort to lose our discount.
To that end, we need to get this bill paid off by 18 April 2021.
Following are just a few photos & stories of the bunnies who helped build up such a big balance. We think they are worth every penny.
Rainbow Malone, Woolly Whooo and Tiltamus Thump III Esq., bonding session, just last night. Rainbow and Woolly are two of four senior bunnies returned to Zooh Corner last month, after being adopted out many years ago. Both rabbits were seen at Exotic Animal Veterinary Center and given full "elder bunny work-ups," which include bloodwork and radiographs, plus whatever else they may need at the time (Rainbow still needs the x-rays - we ran out of funds).
Mortimer Jones is another of the four seniors returned to Zooh Corner. When he came back to us he had a major head tilt, nystagmus (rolling eyes) and constantly turned in circles. He was also very underweight--just in really rough shape. Skip to today: The nystagmus is all but gone, he is mobile and able to play like a normal bunny, and he has only a barely noticeable head tilt. THAT IS JUST TWO-AND-A-HALF WEEKS WITH GREAT VET CARE AND A LOT OF TLC!!
Theodore Rabbit. Sweet sweet little Theodore. He came back to us in worse shape than he was in when we first rescued him so many years ago. He was one of the worst neglect cases we have seen. He received top medical care and abundant TLC, but he continued to decline. He was hospitalized for many days in an attempt to save his little life. Sadly, his medical issues had been ignored for too long and his little body simply could not battle any longer. He died so hard. We tried so hard. So incredibly unfair and heartbreaking.
(Intake photos are available at your request and on our Facebook pages)
SUMMING IT ALL UP
Again, we currently receive a very generous 25% discount on our veterinary bills.
We absolutely cannot effort to lose our discount.
To that end, we need to get this bill paid off by 18 April 2021.
PLEASE CONSIDER A DONATION OF ANY SIZE TO HELP PAY OFF THIS VET BILL.
Thank you for all of the love and support you have offered the Sanctuary Rabbits. Our donors and sponsors truly are Zooh Corner Rabbit Rescue.
