Celeste lost her thyroid :((

Hi friends - I'm starting this fundraiser in support of my wonderful friend Celeste (as shown with Squeaks in the cover photo). As some of you may know, Celeste was recently diagnosed with thyroid cancer. While the diagnosis explains her plethora of recent health issues, going through surgery and treatment throughout the holiday season has not been easy.
While nothing I write will do justice in describing what a sweet and thoughtful person she is, here's a little detail that will give you a small glimpse - Before her thyroidectomy, she made surprise gift baskets for her boyfriend and dad so they can be occupied while she was in surgery. Even during the most difficult times, she manages to think about others first.
All funds raised through this fundraiser will go toward her medical bills (which is a lot), rounds of radiation treatment, and (hopefully) cover days when she will be missing work due to hospital visits and other stress caused by, well, having cancer.

Here are some fun facts about Celeste:
- Her apartment is filled with plants (real ones and Lego ones too!)
- She takes her daily hormone medication with Squeaks every morning (Squeaks ironically has hyperthyroidism lol)
- She's a bookworm and can tell you many facts about dinosaurs (ask her about it!!)
- Her nickname from her loved ones (more specifically Derek), PBC, was rooted in her thyroid not working, we just didn't know it yet
- She has the most beautiful soul and makes even more beautiful food
