Help Peachland's Crossing Guard, Miss Rhonda fight Cancer

Our beloved and trusted crossing guard, Ms. Rhonda, has been diagnosed with breast cancer. She has already begun chemotherapy and will likely require further procedures and possibly surgery.

She hopes to continue being an active part of our school’s community, but she will have to listen to her body and her medical team to see if that’s possible during treatment. She has already missed many days of work at both of her jobs and will likely miss more.

This fundraiser is designed to help ease the financial burden she will face during her battle with cancer. Ms. Rhonda does not drive so her mom will also have to miss work to take her to and from all of her treatments and doctors appointments.

Ms. Rhonda’s warm smile and sweet wave greets you daily as you make your way to and from school. She crosses our children and family members with attentive care and kindness. She not only deeply cares about our kids and her role in keeping them safe, she is great at it! It’s our time to come together in helping her during this trying time.
