Meet Pearl, a tiny 8-lb chihuahua with a heart full of love and a spirit that refuses to dim. At 7.5 years old, she has endured more than her fair share of hardship—losing her family, finding herself alone in an Arkansas shelter, and suffering from years of untreated infections that have left her in chronic pain.

Despite it all, Pearl still wags her tail. She still seeks out love. She’s full of life and joy, proving every day just how strong and resilient she is. But that doesn’t mean she should have to live with pain as her constant companion.

Pearl needs a total ear canal removal to free her from the discomfort and infection that have plagued her for so long. She’s learned to live with it, but she shouldn’t have to... and without this important surgery soon, she will lose her hearing and remain in pain for the rest of her life ahead. She deserves to know what it feels like to truly be pain-free—to enjoy belly rubs, sunny days, and all the cuddles in comfort.
