Help Pedro get his life-saving back operation

Hello everyone,
It’s with very sad hearts that we share the news that our tiny little Pedro pup needs a very important surgery but at a very high cost.
We have tried to put this off and heal him by other means, but as his situation deteriorates, he may soon be unable to go to the toilet or walk, and we would have no choice but to put him to rest.
After being unable to bare weight on his back legs, and finding it difficult to walk, it is apparent that Pedro has a split disc in his back hips and has probably developed IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease).
Pedro usually spends his days bombing about in his favourite London parks, playing about in music studios and chasing his cat brother and sister. He’s usually a very energetic, friendly & happy dog.
Despite us both being very hard-working and accomplished individuals in the creative and music industry, the veterinary quote of £8.5K is just not something we are able to afford on our own at this time. The first MRI scan alone is £2.5k.
Unfortunately, our pet insurance for Pedro does not cover this medical treatment, or the costly MRI scans that come with it.
We understand that there are many causes and charities that people rather donate to than a little mini dachshund, but we wouldn’t have set up this gofundme page if it wasn’t a last resort. We appreciate and thank every single penny that anybody is able to donate.
We also appreciate those who are unable to donate any monetary value at this time, but are able to share Pedro’s story to family & friends, and help us get the treatment he deserves.
