Help Peg's Road to Recovery

Peg & Vern Leippi have been staples in the Regina business community for 20+ years. A large portion of Saskatchewan relates holidays with the amazing food from Peg’s Kitchen.

On the morning of Saturday, December 11th Peg sustained a tragic fall. Her injuries include a broken clavicle, scapula, multiple fractured and broken vertebrae in her neck and back, bruised lungs, broken pelvis and massive trauma to her lower back. Due to the traumas to her neck and back, we have been advised by doctors that it will likely result in paralysis from her chest down.

Peg went through emergency surgery on Saturday, and has at least one more surgery ahead of her very soon, and she is currently in the Surgical ICU. She has a long road of recovery in front of her, including physical recovery, rehab and the costly adaption to life in a wheelchair and new living arrangements.

This new life will come with many new costs and casts many unknowns about their life, and 20+ year business, which remains open.

Peg & Vern have given selflessly to so many communities and charities, and it is time for us to help them.
