Help Penelope Lightbourn, WIN MISS TEEN UNIVERSE 2023

A former resident of Grand Bahama Island who relocated to our nation’s capital after hurricane Dorian, Penelope Zion Fyre Lightbourn, is currently enrolled at the Lyford Cay International School. She is a seventeen (17) year old Model, Athlete and Social Media Influencer. She is GOAL ORIENTED * AMBITIOUS * COMPASSIONATE!

In 2017, she was blessed with the cutest younger brother Bear, who was diagnosed with Autism in 2019, which would later inspire Penelope to make Autism Awareness her pageant theme. The pageant will no doubt provide an avenue for her to speak and educate others about autism, but in the meanwhile bringing awareness to this developmental disability has become a part of her everyday life.

Modeling has been her passion since she was seven years old. She has been able to pursue this dream through the PTG Model Agency and well-known photographers around the country. This exposure motivated her to compete for the Miss Teen Bahamas pageant title.

Though not totally successful as she was named First Runner-Up, that brief moment in the spotlight, however, opened the doorway for her selection by the Teen Universe Bahamas Organization, and to be given the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to represent the Bahamas at the international finals in Madrid, Spain.

TikTok is the social media through which she facilitates her platform, by taking people on a journey of her life and her preparation to compete at an international level. The preparation, wardrobe and other expenses have become a challenge thus we are seeking support to raise approximately $5,000.00 and all amounts exceeding that figure will be earmarked to establish a Sensory Room at a local school for engagement in strategies, exchanges and a variety of therapeutic activities.
