Help Penny Cox (Gaga) Fight Breast Cancer

We are starting this fundraising campaign to help support my mom, Penny Cox, in her battle against breast cancer. In May, we received the devastating news that she was diagnosed with Stage 2 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma breast cancer. To say this rocked our world is an understatement.

Penny - aka "Gaga" to her grandkids (and pretty much everyone who knows her) is an incredible mom, grandma, sister, friend and person. She works full-time and lives on her own and spends her spare time caring for everyone around her. Penny has spent over 20 years in the healthcare industry working with newborns in hospitals across the country. If you know her, you know she has the biggest heart and LOVES to do for others. She radiates positivity, love, & encouragement and is the first to volunteer when someone is in need. She is passionate not only about helping babies, but is also a huge supporter of area food banks and the district clothes closet. If someone is in need, she is there to help.

Penny has touched the lives of many and now it’s our turn to stand by her side. She has just started her battle against cancer and already the medical bills are piling up. From what the medical experts tell us, the battle will continue through and possibly beyond 2024. She started chemotherapy and the side effects have been extreme and debilitating. As the treatment progresses, it will become more difficult for her to work. Penny is self-reliant and would prefer to be the person giving, not accepting. But battling cancer is costly and so, on her behalf, we’re reaching out and asking for your support. If you are willing and able to donate, with your help, we can ensure she has the resources she needs to focus on healing and battling this horrible disease. We are truly grateful for anything you might be able to contribute. We know that everyone might not be in a position to donate, but sharing this with your friends, family and social networks can also help and would be much appreciated.
