Help Penny with expenses and cancer research

June 2021 I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer . I had my Surgery in Manhattan at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. (MSK) My Spleen and Pancreas Tail were Removed along with a Large Hard Cyst which was attached to my spleen and my pancreas tail blocking my Artery and Bile Duct. They also removed 41 lymph nodes , 6 were Metastatic, surrounding it all was also a large Carcinoma Fluid sack.

I was in the Hospital 10 days.

I proceeded after healing up with a 3 day Aggressive chemotherapy every other week for 6 months. I was Cancer free for a about a month The Metastatic tumor came back on the end of the Pancreas where the tail was removed, wrapping around my Artery making is inoperable and I also have a few smaller tumors in other areas of the abdomen. I had to start Chemo again August 2022 and have been traveling to MSK Basking Ridge NJ for over a year now, I travel to NJ and stay over and have Chemo the following day.

3 weeks on 1 week off. I will be doing Chemo the remainder of my life, to keep the tumors shrunk. MSK has a trial study Shot in progress which replaces the Chemo as Maintenance. As Studies continue my Oncologist has mentioned I could possibly be a candidate to receive them.
