Help people from my village back home

I am travelling with my family to Bangladesh on a visit to my village over the winter break (after 13 years!). We are raising funds to support people from the village, Sonapur, Noakhali. Our intention is to:

Purchase food for the villagers: As a way to feed the people in the village we will purchase some cattle. Once prepared it will be packed and distributed with other goods such as rice and lentils.

Purchase blankets: With the dry season approaching, these will help keep the villagers warm and comfortable. This is particularly important as the recent floods in Bangladesh have displaced many and left some without the adequate clothes / shelter.
