Help people struggling financially & emotionally
Donation protected
Hello, I am the founder of the No1seems2care help page which is based in Glasgow.
As a parent I can imagine how heartbreaking it must be to look at your child and tell them that you can't put the heating on when they say they are cold, to tell them they will have to wait longer for something to eat when they say they're hungry, to tell them the lights have to go off when they want them on, to tell them they can't get the jacket and shoes they want and to tell them that they won't be getting what they wanted for Christmas, indeed they might not be getting any presents at all.
Imagine looking at your children directly in the eyes and telling them that you're struggling to keep them fed, warm, clothed and you're struggling to keep the lights on never mind anything else. That's the reality for many people at the moment.
We have heard so many parents saying how painful this is, how they feel they have failed in some way - when they haven't.
We have already helped many families in this type of situation and if you can donate we will help more.
We also help people who are struggling with mental health as this current climate of financial uncertainty and cutbacks has hit them hard too.
We know, from experience, that there will be even more people struggling in the weeks and months after Christmas as families tend to overspend or take on debt to cover the cost of Christmas.
It will be more difficult than ever this year with the hike of food and energy prices.
We don't like asking for donations, especially in this current climate, but it hurts turning people away.
There is no shame in poverty, the shame is poverty exists in the 21st century.
Please don't donate anything unless you can comfortably afford to do so as we know many people are struggling.
Thank you
Alex
