Help Peppa overcome bone cancer

Hi! My name is Aimee, I'm Peppa's mum.

Peppa is an 8 year old Rottie x who I adopted just after Christmas in 2013 when she was 2 months old.

Peppa is a snoozy, wild and full of personality pup who has been my whole life for the last 8 years. On the 12th of December Peppa started acting differently and a hard lump was noticed on her front right leg. After a trip to the emergency vet who suspected cancer (osteosarcoma or bone cancer) though we needed x-rays and a biopsy to completely confirm the diagnosis. The x-ray showed that the lump is almost certainly a tumor, thankfully though a chest x-ray shows no sign that the cancer has already spread to her lungs so we are able to treat the tumor and cancer and get more time with each other.

Treatment for Peppa will include a biopsy to be 100% certain that the lump is cancer, if results indicate it is cancer Peppa will then undergo amputation to remove her pain followed by chemo to treat any remaining cancer cells in her body.

Vet expenses to get to this point are already over $1,500 before Peppa has even had to go under anaesthetic.

We've got a fair road to recovery ahead of us, Pep not only has to kick cancers butt she will also have to adjust to her new life as a tri-pup.

Any money donated will go towards Peppa's vet expenses and any subsequent treatments she needs to continue living her best doggo life, though I don't have an estimate of her treatment costs yet I anticipate they will be substantial.

Peppa is my incredibly spoilt baby and I hope to have many years of spoiling her to come.
