Help Pete, Help Cancer research

My name is Robyn Peterson and I’m on a mission to help cancer research, and fighters/survivors, like my husband Peter, and see a dream of his completed.

 

We are a blended family and he helped raise my children after being widowed and has treated my grandchildren as his own.

 

About 25 years ago, he purchased a 1956 Ford Parklane with plans on restoring it.

 

He started its restoration by disassembling it to the body on frame. Buying parts he knew would be needed along the way. The car was sand blasted and minor rust repair started.

 

Then life got in the way. It sat in storage for over 20 years. He bought parts but no work was done to it.

 

Out of storage a couple of years ago and some minor effort on his part was interrupted, about a year ago or so, while he worked on my car, a 68 Mustang. The effort included rewiring, upgrading to fuel injection, adding air conditioning, and upgrading the interior. As you can see, he will put out the effort when able to.

 

Now he is unable to do very much, as he ages. Someone else will need to do that, and that costs money.

 

Our goal is to finish the project and hopefully drive it a bit and then donate it for cancer research.

 

Here’s where we can use your help. He’s a 75 year-old guy battling non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma on a fixed income.
