Help Peter and Tracia to rebuild after the Floods

We are seeking your help for our friends Peter and Tracia who will be severely impacted financially from the flooding of the Manning River near Taree.

Peter and Tracia's rented cottage has been seen on all the national TV stations, floating down the Manning River, but what people don't know is that as well as the cottage that provided a source of income, they lost up to 192 head of cattle, 6km of fencing and numerous other assets and infrastructure on the property, their losses will be in the hundreds of thousands of dollars.

They only recently purchased their 'dream property' and are new to the area. With their sheds and property assets being over 250 metres from the Manning River, they did not see the need for flood insurance, so this is going to affect them greatly.

This setback for Peter and Tracia follows on from their Braidwood property being impacted in the January 2020 fires, which they are still recovering from.

We are trying to raise some funds for them to help them get back on their feet and would appreciate any assistance at all.
