Help Peter Jennings with his cancer battle

*UPDATE: It is with an extremely heavy heart that I update this GoFundMe with the news of Peter's passing. Anyone who knew Peter knows how incredibly selfless, kind and hardworking he was, it is an incredible loss for all who knew him. With that being said, Simone and Sammy are faced with not only a tremendous loss but they still of course have to take care of the farm, animals, house, regular bills and medical bills. Hopefully we can provide them some comfort and help them worry a little less during such a difficult time.*

This GoFundMe is on behalf of Peter Jennings and his family. Peter is a member of the large Jennings family and spent a portion of his life as a Pompton Lakes resident and had even worked maintenance at Pompton Lakes High School for decades. He is a loving friend, father to Sammy and husband to Simone. Peter and his families biggest dream was to own and operate a horse farm. That dream finally came true about a year and a half ago and the family could not have been happier. After residing in Vernon, NJ for around 20 years they now operate that horse farm in Newton, NJ and are extremely passionate about their work and the animals they care for. A few weeks ago Peter was diagnosed with stage four colon cancer and their entire world has since been flipped upside down. He continues to battle this everyday while trying to keep a positive outlook. With this diagnosis has come many tribulations for not only Peter but his family to handle. As you could imagine, medical care is expensive and the diagnosis has left Peter unable to work as he did. Between medical care, household expenses and upkeeping the farm the family is struggling to keep up with the bills and could be at risk of losing their beloved dream farm. Anything helps this wonderful family during such a time of difficulties and hardships and is appreciated beyond measure.
