Help Petit seminaire Virgo Fidelis buy computers
Donation protected
Since its founding in the 1960s, Petit Séminaire Virgo Fidelis (PSVF) has been a pillar of catholic education in Rwanda. An alma mater of countless priests, teachers, medical doctors, engineers, and scientists working across the globe, this small private institution located in the southern hills of Rwanda has always ranked among the top 10 high schools in the country. Its funding has historically come from the local diocese of Butare, tuition fees, alumni support, and donations from foreign catholic dioceses. However, the drop in donations has made the school rely primarily on tuition to meet her budgetary goals thus causing a shortage of computers and other technology tools needed to enhance learning and digital literacy for students.
We are raising $12,000 to buy 25 computers for the school. Being a private school, PSVF doesn’t get technology funding from the Rwandan government unlike public and charter schools. Whether you are an alumnus, a parent, or someone with tremendous generosity and passion for catholic education, your support will go a long way toward teaching world-class skills in science and technology to hundreds of Rwandan boys.
Since Gofundme does not allow direct withdrawal of funds in Rwanda, I will be responsible for handling the withdrawal and transferring the money to the school.
