Help Phedjina’s Haitian Village

Donation protected

My childhood home in Anse-a-Veau is in ruins! My cousin Beatrice and her family were living there until the devastating (7.2 magnitude) earthquake on August 14, 2021. Her adorable son Marvins is only 6 years old. They lost almost everything. Imagine losing your house and all of your personal belongings! That's what little Stephan is dealing with.
And many others in the village have no possessions and no money for food.
Those hardest hit need help to get through this tragic time. Sadly there is no government assistance for them either. They don't have enough money to rebuild, let alone to send their kids to school this year.
Beatrice and Marvins are barely getting by, living in a shack with no electricity or running water. And many other people in the village are living under tarps. And it’s the beginning of the hurricane and flooding season.
All of the funds will go directly to rebuilding the town around Beatrice and Stephan. Please help give people safe and dry places to live, and help Stephan and his friends go back to school. Your aid can give them hope for a livable environment, and a feeling of connection to people like you who care about them.
We’ll post new pictures as things are fixed up.
