Never imagined I'd be doing something like this... but, here I am!

WHO AM I?
I am Phil White... almost 82 years young... still quite healthy and active... living in Tucson, Arizona.

"GO FUND ME" CAMPAIGN
I've decided to launch a "Go Fund Me" (GFM) campaign to try to... SAVE MY HOME... which I have been happily living in since 2006.  That is my cherished "Home on Wheels"... partially visible behind me in the photo above (a large 5th wheel RV).

BRIEF HISTORY
Since 2007, I have been a RV tenant at a single location on the beautiful far west side of Tucson... parking and living in my RV home out here.

From 2007 to 2014... I would leave for camp hosting gigs each summer and return in the fall.  But, in 2014, it became necessary to park the RV on a stationary/permanent basis since it had developed severe leaks whenever there was rain.

At that time... in order to solve the water leakage problem... I decided to build a large, stainless steel covering over the RV (using funds from the sale of the big F550 puller truck which I would no longer need).

That worked great... but, I failed to arrange any kind of agreement that would assure I could remain here permanently... foolishly assuming that... that was simply the case.

CURRENT CRISIS
Now, recently and abruptly... the owners of the property have asked me to move off the property... so that they can temporarily bring in a terminally ill relative to use the space that I have occupied all these years.

That has created a major problem for me.  To continue living in my RV home... I would need to move it and the large, steel covering to a new location.  Unfortunately, the cost of such a move is far beyond what I can afford.

That means unless I am somehow able to come up with the necessary funds for moving... I am facing the potential loss of my treasured RV home... and, even the possibility of being left homeless.

GOAL... $8,000
So, I'm hoping that through this GFM effort, I will be able to raise the $8,000 that I would need to move my RV and the covering to a new location. 

The major part of the cost of such a move would be moving the large covering structure which has become an essential part of my home now.  And, of course, there is a fairly long list of other related expenses that will come into play when making such a move.

TIMING
This campaign is TIME CRITICAL since I need to be moved by mid to late March.

SOME GOOD NEWS
I have located a very nice RV lot that is available to me nearby at a reasonable monthly rate... where I am welcome to move both the RV and the covering structure... and, I would have a "lifetime lease" there... assuring me that this kind of problem will not be repeated.
