Help Phil and Theresa's Family Recover from Devastating Fire

My name is Phil and today we had the worst thing ever happen to us. We were enjoying our Saturday afternoon. My wife just came home from the store and we were cooking lunch, my daughter was eating and we could hear a horn from a car going off. She went outside to look and saw that our car was on fire and as a result it burned our home and everything in it. I have 5 teenage kids, my wife and I. I was given a recommendation that we should start a GoFundMe to try to get some support of any capacity. I don't know what to put for an amount really, but I know my family and I will be grateful for any help. Donations will be used to obtain clothing, furniture, household items and most of all to help secure a place to live. Thank you all.

To all of the amazing people that have donated, I just wanted to post an update on how things are unfolding during our recovery from this most tragic time in our lives. The donations that have been given have been primarily used towards hotel costs. Due the rising cost of the hotel and the fact that we have used all the money that has been donated, we will be broke and on the street before the apartment gets fixed. We have decided to change tactics and decided to look for another place to rent. We were able to find a place that we move in to on Monday the 15th of July. This couldn't have come at a better time as we literally have enough money to get to Monday. We are receiving help from a Government Funded Program to help us with the upfront money to move in. We couldn't do it without them. The difficult thing is that we are moving in with just our clothes that we have and nothing else, so any continued support through this GoFundMe page, will aid in obtaining beds and any other house hold items that we need, considering everything was destroyed.
