Hello beautiful Humxns! Many of you may already know me but let me introduce myself. My name is Phoenix, a 30 year old QTPOC from the UK. Pronouns He/They.My journey coming out as trans was not an easy one. Accessing trans healthcare is incredibly difficult to get on the NHS and have been on the waitlist for over 4 years now. So I have made the decision to go private. I am on track to start hormones which is incredible but I am very anxious about the increased dysphoria that may occur once I begin taking testosterone with the chest I was born with. So I have created this Go Fund Me in the hopes that anyone who would like to support the next stage in my transition can help towards my top surgery and recovery costs.
It makes me very uncomfortable asking for financial support from others but after talking to a good friend who felt similar when creating their page "There's people who love and care about you and would want to help you... So let them!" So over the next year I will be putting various fundraisers together and a percentage of show and performance fees will be automatically contributed to this fund.I am determined to start the next step in my transition and I would like to thank you all for your continued love & solidarity.
