Hi all!

As you may know I am very passionate about healing through joy. So much so I have dedicated all of my time facilitating dialogue and experiences around this in academia, community spaces, and online.

I am currently completing my doctorate in counseling and counselors education, researching the Therapeutic benefits of Play for Black Adults.

Today my school informed that due to no fault of my own and through misinformation they had to cancel my funding. This funding is vital for my research and survival. Without it, I cannot move forward in my program, pay my rent, or complete my research.

I work already but because of intentional and intensive planning I do not have many hours scheduled because I have been completing research.

I am asking for any help or mutual aid that can be given.

TLDR Version:
