Seeking Justice and Support for Phoenix's Sons

Our tight-knit mountain community has been shaken to its core by an unimaginable tragedy. Phoenix, a beloved and vibrant member of our town, went missing after serving her husband, Mike, with divorce papers. For nearly a week, we held onto hope, rallying together to search tirelessly, share her story, and pray for her safe return.

Tragically, our worst fears were realized when Phoenix's body was found. Her husband has been charged with second-degree murder, leaving us all heartbroken, angry, and determined to seek justice for Phoenix.

Phoenix leaves behind two adult sons, Kota and his brother Jesse, who now face an overwhelming and uncertain future. Kota, who lived in the home where this horrific act occurred, cannot even return to his residence as it remains an active investigation scene. He’s been staying with friends and in motels, navigating grief while facing financial instability.

The burden these young men now carry is immense. From covering funeral expenses to navigating legal fees and handling her estate, they are facing a mountain of costs on top of their profound loss. This is not a burden they should have to bear alone.

We are calling on our community and beyond to help ease this financial strain. Your support will go directly toward:

* Covering funeral expenses to honor Phoenix's life.

* Ensuring housing and essential needs for Kota are covered, as he now shoulders the burden of paying the mortgage for the home he once shared with his mother.

* Legal fees to secure her estate for her sons.

* Counseling and mental health resources to support them through this trauma.
