Help Phyllis Simonetti Nelson Access Life-Saving Treatment

Hi everybody. As some of you may know, my wife Phyllis Nelson (Simonetti) was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in March of this year. She is doing well, but her cancer markers are rising. The drug of choice to treat her condition is Lynparza. Her doctor prescribed it, but it’s not covered. The cost of the drug is $17,000.00 a month. Unfortunately, we can’t afford that. With mounting medical bills, we are both overwhelmed. We tried every avenue and got nowhere. It is not easy to ask for help, but it is a necessity. Any donations will go to fund this drug and any other necessary cancer treatments.

      Update: due to Phyllis’ cancer marker increase her Dr has started her on chemo again. After this round the Lynparza will begin. She will more than likely need 2 years of treatment at $200k a year in the US.  We found a way to get drug from Canada for approximately $100k a year we also received a coupon through AstraZeneca for $26k but only good in US. We still can’t afford. Please help us spread the word everyone has been incredibly generous so far. Phyllis and I are very blessed to have so many people that care. Thank you Ken
