Help Pierre Poppet Survive the Hurricane!
Hello! My name is Clay Davis and I'm a New Orleans artist recently evacuated from my home due to Hurricane Ida. So far, we haven't been able to determine the extent of the damage to our home or the total loss of art that may have occurred. But art must go on! As we face an uncertain future, I'm asking for a little help so I can get back to work. I had to leave behind all my art supplies - canvases, brushes, paints, and even my easel. So I'm hoping to put together a de facto "studio" while we remain evacuated. This way, I can stay on schedule with my art for the year, satisfy my commissions, and keep from going utterly insane.
This money will be used to purchase a new easel, a LOT of paint (as my artwork is very colorful), many brushes and all the canvases I need to work over the next couple of months. Without these supplies, my work will grind to a halt during one of the busiest times of the year for me. So it's essential that I manage to acquire the tools of my trade as soon as possible.
I have the finest, most wonderful collectors in the world! Over the years, I've been blessed to sell my work to these crazy, warm-hearted folks who continue to come back for more every year. My biggest sale of the year occurs on November the 1st. I only have so much time to complete all the paintings I'll be selling during that sale. You can help make sure I don't disappoint my collectors! Any small amount will help. Thank you for your interest. And thank you for your help.
