Recently me and my roommate have been looking to get a dog that needs rehoming to be a companion for my roommates dog and an emotional support animal for me. My roommate responded to an Ad saying they were rehoming a frenchie they couldn't take care of named Princess Piggy. What was advertised as a simple rehoming was actually much more dire. When they arrived my roommate found that this dog had been seriously neglected and abused which the photos were cropped to not show. She is underweight and has a severe ear infection that seems to have never been treated. She had fleas which caused her to be losing hair and have large painful scabs and sores all over her body. She also has gash and puncture wounds from being attacked by the owners other dog who is a pitbull probably five times her size. She was also used to be bred over and over and even to nurse litters of puppies that weren't hers. The owner was extremely sketchy and this dog was in a dire situation and needed to be taken from her that day. My roommate was able to secure her and immediately took her to the vet for treatment. She requires expensive treatment for her ears and skin as well as all her vaccinations and preventatives. Additionally she will need to be spayed. This dog is so sweet and loving and I want to be able to give her a much better and happier life. I'm asking for help with her extensive medical expenses so that I can heal her and provide that safe environment she needs. Any help is really appreciated so we can get this sweetheart back on her feet.
