Help Pippin Overcome Kidney Failure

Hi everyone,

My precious baby Pippin is currently going through kidney failure. I adopted Pippin when he was just a baby kitten 4 years ago. He's gotten me through a lot. Pippin has been my comfort through breakups, finals, my dad's open-heart surgery, and the loss of my granddad. Pippin is the sweetest and cuddliest cat I've ever known, and he's still just a baby.

I brought him to the vet yesterday (10/22) and they determined that his kidneys are failing. The vet has been absolutely amazing, and they are running tests to determine what could be causing the kidneys to decline at such a young age. So far, they have kept him for one night, and they're saying he seems a little better today. The plan is for them to keep him at least another day to run more tests and give him fluids.

They're hopeful that Pippin can be fixed and recover, but the cost has been exponential. I'm a senior in college studying engineering, so I don't have time for a job right now. Please don't feel obligated to give, but anything is beyond appreciated to help save Pippin.
