We've outgrown our retail space and having exhausted funds in our expansion efforts we're here asking for help to make our dream shop a reality!

We've been at this for 6 years and it's become clear that we've outgrown our current space and are limited in what we can deliver. With a second much larger shop, we're excited to accomodate so much more for our community that we've been dreaming of for so long. This includes:

Regular monthly community events able to cater to larger crowds
More clothing options, specifically more masc and gender neutral options
A LOT MORE DRESSING ROOMS (YAY!)
The ability to take in and process more items on our website for folks far away

The awesome news is that we've secured a second space that is nearly triple the size of our current! The not-so-awesome-news is that we're running out of $$ and we need your support.

For context we've started the process to renovate + build and we've applied for and taken out a tremendous amount of debt against the business (the max allowable) to make it happen. But we're very quickly tapping into our reserves and exhausting our funding we thought would cover all of our needs. Due to some unforseen timeline delays we're also now looking at opening our store in the dead of winter, when retail performance is flattest.

Plus BKLYN is a second-hand & resale store located in Williamsburg, BK specializing in super cute, on-trend and highly curated clothing for sizes 12+. If you can believe it, we are currently the only brick & mortar boutique in ALL of NYC dedicated to plus sizes (insane - we know). To us and many others Plus BKLYN has been more than just a retail store; it is a community hub for individuals who have been on the fringes of fashion their whole lives and a place where people have a sense of belonging. We aim for all of our customers to feel welcomed, loved, cheered-on & able to be exactly who the f**k they are! Here is where we're asking our community for help: we're looking for a little extra support to help us cross the finish line and ensure we can make this expansion a reality!
