Help PODER get to UWD Congress

PODER of Idaho has been organizing for immigrant right's for the last year. We have held rallies, workshops, held our elected officials accountable, and have centered our work on the voices of those who are most directly impacted by our government's inability to pass compassionate and comprehensive immigration reform. 


Through our organizing efforts, PODER had an amazing opportunity to campaign with the nation's biggest youth immigration right's group, United We Dream , earlier this year.





PODER of Idaho has been invited by United We Dream to attend their annual UWD Congress. We are humbly asking for your help to get our contingent to Miami on October 5-7, when the Congress is taking place. This is a great opportunity for us to learn more about the issues and build the tools we need in  order to continue our grassroots organizing efforts to help our immigrant community in Idaho.

It is our hope that this fundraiser will cover all of our travel costs.

**Meals and Incidentals are based on the federal GSA per diem rate. Miami's daily rate is $64.00/day. Per person the cost is $288 total. Cost breakdown looks like 2 travel days at $48 per day = $96.00 PLUS 3 full days at $64/day=$192.00. Subject to change based on more conference information being released by UWD.
