Help Pollinators by building habitat

Donation protected
Pollinators are perishing.  We must act now if we wish to save these butterflies, bees, birds, and hummingbirds that we depend upon for our food and environment. Personally, I get a great deal of enjoyment just being around them, fluttering and dancing in the air.

I planted about 200 California Native plants in the past two years, and another 200 in the past few weeks, to help build their habitat along the Santa Monica Creek in Carpinteria, CA. I want to plant more, but I need to donations to purchase the plants.

This corridor, along the Santa Monica Creek, is an ideal location for this project. It is devoid of cars and traffic, lightly used by people, bikes, and dogs, and is north/south oriented to provide shelter and habitat that is free of automobiles. It is also a beautiful corridor, other than the non-native invasive species that have taken over the landscape.

I began by planting a few "islands" of natives, which are now beginning to converge. But I have only addressed a small portion of the trail. I wish to accelerate and expand this project to the edge of the city at the northern portion of the trail. This much larger area will require many more plants.

So please help me to build habitat for pollinators by donating a few dollars for the purchase of California native plants. We'll all be a little better off if you do.
