Help Portia, Steve, and Leila After Altadena Fire

My name is Michelle, and I’m from Pasadena, CA. I’m organizing this fundraiser to support my dear friend, Portia, who recently experienced a devastating loss due to the Altadena fire. Portia and her family lost their home and all their belongings in the fire, and they are now facing the daunting challenge.


Portia didn’t have time to gather her belongings before the fire, as she thought she’d be returning the next day. By the morning of January 8th, everything was gone.

Portia and I have been friends since our daughters were just 3 years old, and now they’re both 20. She is family to me, and seeing her go through this has been heartbreaking. While she and her husband are staying with her brother in Pasadena, the emotional and financial strain of starting over is immense.

I’m reaching out to our community for help to ease their immediate needs and provide some relief during this challenging time.

 • Temporary Support: Assisting with day-to-day costs while they work on stabilizing their situation.
