Help Post 140 Buckhead Remodel Their Kitchen
Tax deductible
In 2019, American Legion Post 140 Buckhead remodeled and updated the majority of the Ryan P. Means Legion Hut, which was built in the 1930's. We now need to update the kitchen to finish this renovation. The total cost of renovations will be $50,000, and we have budgeted for the majority of the expenses, but could use your help to offset these costs.
Even if you are not a veteran, you may have attended an event or party at the Post. We rent out the Legion Hut for community events, and this renovation will serve our renters, as well as our Veterans.
This is what our kitchen currently looks like:
We have retained HMJ Designs, LLC, who has designed a wonderful new kitchen for us, and Ron Montford was chosen to lead the kitchen renovation based on his experience as a general contractor and him saving us over 50% of what the leading competitor offered.
We are raising money through the Waldo M Slaton American Legion Post 140 Foundation, and any donation will be tax-deductible and help make an impact on Veterans.
Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause.
