Help Pottstown PAL Dek Hockey build the new deks!

Hi, my name is Bree Mowery and I am a parent of a current beaver player, Zoey Kopf. My grandfather is John Durkin, the president of Pottstown PAL. My husband is Paul Kopf, current assist coach for beaver team the Hurricane. I started this fundraiser as another means of raising money to be ear marked for the building of the new deks at the PAL athletic fields. My daughter started playing last spring and with the coaches (who are volunteers) I have watched her love for the game grow and she has made lots of new friends. The other night she told me she wants to play until she ages out. I would love for her and the other kids to be able to do that on a proper dek.

After speaking with people, the amount was considered due to having to remove trees, pour concrete, and run lights. Please consider donating to help the youth have a nice dek to play on.

Pottstown Area PAL Dek Hockey is a variation of ice hockey in which players run on sneakers instead of skates.  It is played on blacktop, using a ball instead of a puck. Operating continuously since 1996, Pottstown Area PAL Dek Hockey is the largest intramural dek hockey program in Eastern Pennsylvania.
