Help Preserve McNab Shepherd Lineage and Legacy

PLEASE help defend our McNab Shepherd Family from this injustice.

On Monday, December 9, 2024, the McNab Shepherd Registry, Ron Prentice of Rockin KR McNabs, David Procida of Top Gun McNab Shepherds, and Clark Carlton of the McNab Shepherd Registry (breeder) were advised of a complaint filed in Federal Court in Tacoma, Washington, listing them as defendants. The plaintiff filing this detrimental complaint is Brittany Brauer of Vanir McNabs in Arizona. Here is a basic synopsis of the complaint: The plaintiff, Brittany Brauer of Vanir McNabs, is seeking "relief against defendants for tortious interference of business expectancy and trade libel." She is seeking "punitive damages based on willful, wanton, and intentional nature of defendants' conduct and defamation per se; for an award of reasonable attorney's fees for further relief as is provided by law and that court deems just and equitable." Due to this complaint, the defendants have no choice but to retain an attorney to help defend their love of the McNabs. Ron, Clark, and David are and have been stewards for the amazing McNab breed for as long as Brittany has been on the earth. The McNab Shepherd Registry, Rockin KR McNabs, and Top Gun Shepherds are in jeopardy of being dissolved and destroyed by Brittany Brauer of Vanir McNabs, which she barely started in 2020. As a side note, all breeders have always been helpful to one another and have always recommended each other's dogs. We all have our own social media and internet pages to help us showcase our dogs and puppies. We do NOT overbreed and will not breed if we feel there are too many puppies available. We always have lists prior to breeding responsibly. This being said, we will need help to fight this injustice. The retainer fee is $5,000.00, which Ron Prentice has paid. This will be a huge financial burden on all the defendants. Ron is hoping to recover this expense as none of the other defendants have the capability of assisting with the expenses. The McNab Shepherd Registry is all volunteer and does not have the financial capacity to pay attorney's fees. The retainer fee is the first step. There's a possibility of a continuous financial burden, especially if this does go to court. The fees will increase for court appearances and the possibility or probability of a countersuit, which is recommended by the attorney. If the complaint is dropped, we will return as much of the balance as possible. Please help in any way with any amount you can afford. We appreciate the help, and we love our McNab Shepherd Family and world. The loss of Top Gun McNab Shepherds, Rockin KR McNabs, and the McNab Shepherd Registry will be devastating to the McNab family, world, and community. If Brittany succeed in court, it will leave a huge void. I can't express our gratitude for the help and for your concern and caring.
