Help Preserve Our Temple's Integrity

Hello everyone! I had the privilege to serve as the President of the Hindu Temple of Greater Chicago in Lemont, Illinois in 2023. My family and I have been a part of the community since the inception of the Temple. We all have volunteered throughout the years at the Temple in various positions. I have grown up playing in the woods around the Temple and have made numerous lifelong friendships with a lot of other "Temple Kids." I am a so called Second Generation Kid having been brought up in the United States. During my time as President, I worked with like minded individuals on the Board (Shatender Singh, Venkatraja Reddy, Cuddalore Kumar, Vidya Pandikaran, and Nandish Dhananjaya) to reinvigorate the Monthly Seniors Party, Expand Funding for Sunday School, Raised the Indian Flag for Republic Day and Indian Independence Day, Physically erected both Indian and US national flags next to Vivekananda Statue, Expanded the Parking Lot, Built a Retention Wall, Renovated the entire Rama Temple with new tile and paint, Replaced entire Roof of Rama Temple, made an emphasis on community engagement, stressed the importance of social media in reaching our diaspora, raised the Trust Fund to a level where we made more money than we invested and left it at $3.5 million dollars, worked with Treasurer Cuddalore Kumar to smartly invest in CD's and earning the Temple 5% risk free, along with leading a delegation to Washington D.C. to represent Hinduism to the country as an invitee of the Smithsonian Folklife Festival, and worked on creating a culture where staff members are recognized and rewarded for their efforts for the Temple. However, instead of supporting any of these causes, the Gang of Twelve Trustees and Past Presidents conspired to work against any progress at the Temple. Basically, "since we didn't do it, how can you do it and show us up?" When you love something it is not work. I love the Temple and would work tirelessly to make it win in every situation for the benefit of our community. But certain elements in our community are power hungry and strive for recognition to satisfy their egos alone. I have been sued by the Gang of Twelve at the Temple for fixing longstanding problems at the Temple last year. The Temple has spent over $80000 to sue me for the positive infrastructure changes that have occurred but at the same time fundraising off the positive changes. The lawsuit in Dupage County is not about anything but pure vengeance and ego by Trustees Dr. Gopal Srinavasan, Veena Marwaha, Dr. Satya Sridhara, Jayanti Mittur, Kiran Ramineni, Sivaraman Subramanian, Rohini Udupa, Bakshish Rawal, Prasana Murthy, Kamala Chimata. Also, Past Presidents led by Amrish Mahajan (google Uncle Amrish, Republic Bank Failure, FDIC sanction) Dr. Ashtosh Gupta, Bhima Reddy and G.L.N Reddy have falsely propogated lies about me and my family. It is truly a shame for our institution. These elders who I looked up to are truly a disgrace for the community because they have brought dirty clan politics from India to our Temple. I need to fight against this darkness, but I cannot do it alone. I need the support of the community to pay the mounting legal fees. I can say with Lord Rama as my witness that I did not steal one dollar from the Temple. Can you stand with me and save our institution from these evil forces? The Temple needs the second generation to stand up and say enough is enough. We need new leadership at this Temple and only you can do it by becoming members and voting these people out. I have been tortured by these people, defamed by them, and now they are colluding to spread lies and trying to get a victory in court. I humbly ask for your support to give back our Temple to the People! Every dollar raised will go to fight this corruption, clan politics, and spouse politics. Anything left over will be donated to Temple. I will provide all receipts. Complete transparency. Jai Shri Ram!
