Help Preserve Zachary's Legacy for His Daughters

Zachary Lodge, 35, of Davie, Florida, passed away on May 15, 2024, in Davie, Florida.

Zachary was born in Greeley, Colorado to Scott and Laura Lodge on July 3, 1988. He attended high school at Cypress Bay in Weston and graduated from Westlake High School in Cooper City, Florida.

He was self-employed as an IT technician for the last 10 years.

Zachary was baptized at Potential Church on Good Friday at the age of 11. Zachary loved the Lord! He had a heart of gold and his faith never wavered.

He is survived by his wife Melissa Lodge, Daughters Mikaela Lodge (12) and Violet Lodge (5), Sister Corinne Rivera, Brother-in-law Erick Rivera, Nephew Anthony Rivera (14), Father and Mother, Scott and Laura Lodge, Grandparents Elmer and Billie Jean Rothman, Uncles Tad and Michael Rothman, Grandmother Marlene Warner, Aunt and Uncle Tzofiah and Avi Rogers and many cousins.

On Friday, May 24, 2024, visitation will be held at Potential Church from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. The Service will be held at the church at 2:00 p.m.

No funeral procession will follow. Zachary will be cremated, and his remains will be forever kept with his family.

In lieu of sending flowers, we kindly ask for donations to be made to a trust account established for Zachary's beloved daughters, Mikaela and Violet. They were the center of his world, and ensuring their future well-being is of utmost importance to us all. The funds collected will go directly towards their college education and other essential expenses, providing them with the support they need during this difficult time and beyond.
