Priest Lake Library 50 Years In The Making!

We made it to the 1/2 century mark. The library was originally established in 1974.

Survey results are in! Where has 50 years brought us.

Thank you to everyone who participated in our Survey. We learned a lot from you, and have appreciated hearing your thoughts.

A Few Highlights:

• Respondents were almost 50/50 full time residents and vacation home owners.

• The majority of respondents want a larger library.

• There’s a lot of love for our current location. The majority of you either didn’t want to move, or were undecided about a new location.

• The #1 request was for some kind of private space, whether large or small.

• The #2 request was for an outdoor pavilion/covered space.

In honor of our 50th Anniversary, please consider a donation to our Building Expansion Fund. We are in need of an extra room off the Northside of the building to accommodate all the growing amount of patrons using the library on a day to day basis year round: Teleworkers, Zoom Health Care visits, Classes, Programs, Emergency meetings, Job Interviews, Preschool Storytime, Bookclubs, Board Game Day with the family and need a big table, 55 little kids at a reptile visit and rain :)

We desperately need more room to accommodate the increased flow of patrons. Please consider helping us achieve our expansion goals. We will take your help in any way you are able to assist with.
