Help Princess Begin Their Bus Life On The Road

Hello! My name is Princess, and I am converting a school bus into a tiny home to travel and live the creative and free life I’ve always wanted. I dream of finishing my manuscript about my family history surrounded by nature, and helping others live a more sustainable and fulfilling life. Unlike others who build buses and vans themselves, I decided to use my skills in other ways. I’ve dedicated the last 10 months to meticulously planning out the build, working with a designer to create the ideal layout for my lifestyle, and sourcing local recycled and reclaimed materials to make a one-of-a-kind home. After partnering with a build company, I will be completing the rest of the build at home.

The average cost of a converted bus or skoolie is around $30,000, and I’ve been working three jobs to raise as much of that as possible while also buying materials to keep costs low. I am asking for my community’s help to get us over the finish line and out on the road! All my life I’ve been a convention kid, traveling across the country as a writer and poet while getting lost in the woods and climbing trees. I believe this bus will reignite my creativity and provide the stability of owning my own home.

This fundraiser will cover the remaining build costs. This bus is just the beginning of living a mobile lifestyle and helping others to do the same.
