Help Produce "House of Rejects"

Hi! I'm Brian Albert Vega. I'm an animation and dramatic writing student at the Savannah College of Art and Design, and I'm currently developing an animated web series called House of Rejects with Paper Crown Pictures.

 

What’s this show about?

 

Ever wonder where rejected ideas go after you throw them out? Well, they go to the House of Rejects – a support center and permanent residence for all forms of rejected ideas, from useless kitchen gadgets to ugly cartoons to out-of-control robots.

 

After being sent to the House of Rejects, a cartoon named Fritz realizes that the only way out is with some crazy new ideas of his own. With the help of his caretaker, RJ Aquino, Fritz must stumble his way through this crazy new world to discover what it really means to be a “reject.”

 

What do we need to raise money for?

 

Animation is expensive. Like. Really expensive. And, frankly, we’re a bunch of broke college students. This is definitely the lowest-budget animated series…pretty much in the history of ever, so your contribution will be used to cover all bare minimum production costs. Any contribution will be appreciated.

 

What’s Paper Crown Pictures?

 

Paper Crown Pictures is a Chicago-based production company dedicated to showcasing student voices in film and television. They use their resources to help young filmmakers and artists turn their ideas into realities and market them to audiences around the world. Their first film, Ferdinand Avenue, fared well in festivals, and they have more projects on the way (like this one!). Your contribution will help more student filmmakers tell their unique stories.
